This would be innovative systems for handling the horse, setting up his environment and daily care for optimum safety and enrichment and helping him improve his relationship with his person. An example would be how to lead a horse with poor eyesight or blindness; how to set up his facility for safety; an appropriate companion who would wear a bell; awareness of his perceptions and his need for consistency. Horses who come to us with special needs (or our companions who become injured or compromised) need our dedication to the unique care they require for healing or for stabilizing so the rest of their lives have quality and value.

Professionals (Veterinarians, Chiropractors, Massage experts) are needed, but our daily care and handling will mean the difference between suffering or thriving. This would not be about healing modalities (I could do that later for each malady), but about things like footing and exercise and environment considerations.
