About This Episode
“Ten Essential Tips to Deal With Fear/Anxiety as a Rider”
Firstly just for this talk let’s assume the horse has a fairly good temperament an is able to more or less do the task you are asking of it.
The other thing to mention is every one feels their own personal journey through these thoughts and feelings. There are no set stages more like a roller coaster with ups and downs as one person’s minor hiccup is another person’s catastrophic event. Gaining the skills and tools to learn how to navigate if for you.
Comparing is often the thief of happiness and can particularly be so when comparing fear and anxiety. Why doesn’t Competitor A have the same thoughts and fears as me. So now my brain has a wonderful excuse to beat myself up about that.
What would I do if fear didn’t matter?
