About Chase
– After spending her life as a total “horse girl”, Chase is now utterly obsessed with donkeys. She cannot actually work out how she lived without them. Chase want everyone to learn to appreciate this amazing equines!
Chase has been involved with horses for over 35 years and with donkeys for 6 years.
Since 2018 she has been on the Committee of the Donkey Society of Victoria.
During Covid, she wrote a book called ‘The Australian Teamster Donkey: Heritage, Management and Future’.
Chase is a self confessed donkey-aholic and passionate with everything to do with the horse’s long ear cousin. Her mission is to persuade everyone to switch to donkeys from horses.
Donkey Society of Victoria
The purpose of the Society is primarily to promote the well being of Donkeys in Australia be they wild or domesticated by: Encouraging the breeding of sound, quality donkeys; providing education on the care of donkeys; promoting research into all matters relating to donkeys, their health and general care; encouraging and supporting the exhibition of donkeys; Participating in the prevention of cruelty to donkeys and co-operating with any other organisation actively engaged in preventing cruelty; and promoting the public image of the donkey as a useful animal as well as an engaging pet.
