– Haley at Outback Equines is a full time professional horse trainer who has developed a myriad of skills throughout her time in the horse industry. Hayley holds many qualifications and accreditation within the equine industry.
Hayley has a strong interest in the field of Equitation Science and follows the Principles of Equine Learning, Combined Reinforcement with a push towards Reward Based Training Methods/Positive Reinforcement.
Hayley teaches a large variety of equine pursuits and is well known in the industry as a skilled and knowledgeable horse woman due to her drive for continuous professional development – you can NEVER stop learning in this industry and Hayley is always continuing her own training so that she can pass on any new knowledge to her valued clients. Hayley has a good reputation for being able to connect to people and their horses in a common sense but compassionate way – always remembering that each individual is unique and on their own horsemanship journey. Hayley promotes positive and empowering training methods to her clients – 2 legged and 4 legged alike!
Hayley uses and promotes humane and ethical training methods backed by science and by leading equine experts from around the world. She believes in a holistic approach to training and always takes into consideration the horse’s health & physical well-being when approaching each new horse/owner combination. She is constantly staying up to date with the latest research and industry knowledge to ensure better welfare for the horses she trains and is very passionate in her pursuit of excellent training practices!
