About Helen
– Helen Fletcher is a Level 4 Australian Pilates Method Association Pilates Practitioner and Movement Educator with over 25 years of personal practice and 12 years of full time teaching experience. Helen is the founder and owner of Equipoise Pilates for Equestrians.
A dedicated rider and Dressage enthusiast from a young age, Helen founded Equipoise Pilates to bring together her expertise in Pilates and riding. Helen practices in both Melbourne and Ballarat based Pilates studios teaching a variety of clients both riders and non-riders with needs that range from post-acute rehabilitation to conditioning for sport. Along with teaching individual riders in the studios, Helen also offers Equipoise Pilates Posture and Position Clinics that combine mat based and ridden exercises.
A rider from childhood, Helen Fletcher has many years of competitive riding experience. Equipoise Pilates for Equestrians draws together her expertise in, and love of, both Pilates and classical riding. Helen has contributed articles to Dressage Today Magazine and Equestrian Life Magazine.
