– Indirect Rein (opposite hip and hock to take weigh off the shoulder used with direct pressure to control)
– Open Rein (opens away from neck used to guide a horse and does not affect forward motin)
– Leading Rein (extend open rein used on young green horse)
– Bearing Rein (stops the shoulder falling out)
– Pulley Rein (for emergency stop) both reins – emergency stop
