About Jenny
– Jenny is a graduate from one of the first Horse Management Programs in Australia at a time when there was some opposition to the need for formal education in you wanted to work with horses. Thankfully attitudes have changed and the industry now sees the value of technical knowledge and hands-on skills in their employees. After working in horse breeding and performance horse stables she moved into vocational education, progressing to Head Teacher with TAFE NSW and providing training for full and part time studies as well as apprentice jockeys for Racing NSW and stewards in all three racing codes. For the past ten years or so Jenny has focused on consultancy work including the development of national competencies for animal care, racing and performance horse sectors. Her equestrian interests have involved roles as Equestrian Australia Youth Dressage Development Coordinator and Steward and Dressage NSW High Performance Coordinator.
