About Jess
– Jess’s childhood passion was to work with both people and animals led her to complete a Bachelor of Social Work in 2009. In continuing to fulfill her goals and expand her practice she completed training with the Equine Psychotherapy Institute in 2015.
Over the last 9 years Jess has worked in the Disability Sector and the Child Protection Sector. She is currently employed via a Non Government Organisation to provide direct therapeutic intervention to adults, children and families impacted by trauma.
Jess’s ongoing goal is to continue to increase her knowledge and practice wisdom in this innovative field of animal assisted therapy as well as continuing to pursue my passion for connecting with animals and people.
Jess is located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and is passionate about the horse human connection and achieving wellbeing via horse-human experiences and experiments.
Jess is a practicing social worker who specialises in the area of trauma with children and young people. Jess works with individuals, children/adolescents, couples, groups and organisations. Programs can be tailored to meet specific individual requirements.
